Pamela Kent (PhD) is formerly Professor of Accounting at Bond and Griffith University. She has won numerous awards for teaching and research and has a track record of high quality research published in internationally refereed journals. She is a member of CPA Australia, American Accounting Association, Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand and European Accounting Association. She has extensive experience in course development and the accounting profession in many roles. Her contribution to the profession is indicated by being an advisory panel member for the Foundation CPA Australia Program and being a long-term member of the Education Advisory Committee for CPA Australia. Senior course development roles at the University of Queensland include Sub Dean of Commerce, Director of Diploma in Accounting and Director of the Master of Financial Management. Similar roles associated with course development include Head of Department of Accounting, Disciplinary Committee member, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Chair of Teaching and Learning Committee at Bond University. She is currently a full-time staff member at the University of Adelaide.
