    Lima Aktar is a Lecturer in Law, teaching in the areas of Business Law and Corporate Law. She is also a Doctoral Candidate at the Thomas More Law School, Australian Catholic University (ACU).

    Her research focuses on the economic dimensions of constitutional rights. She has published in leading international journals, including Global Constitutionalism (Cambridge University Press) and the International Journal of Constitutional Law (Oxford University Press), as well as a book chapter with Springer Nature.

    Lima’s broader research interests include business law, the history of political thought, corporate theory, and the intersections between law, economy, and constitutional governance.

    • Currently working on a paper: “From Letting Live to Making Life: The ‘Right to Life’ and the Genealogy of Social Constitution in India,” accepted for the 44th Annual Conference of the Australian and New Zealand Law and History Society organized by the University of Melbourne (to be held from 24-29 November 2025).
