Dr. Fouzia Yasmin is an accomplished academic and researcher with expertise in marketing, economics, econometrics, and development studies. She holds dual PhDs in Marketing (Charles Darwin University, Australia) and Economics (Pakistan Institute of Development Economics, Pakistan).
She is currently a Lecturer at the Canterbury Institute of Management, Darwin, and has previously served as a Lecturer and Research Assistant at Charles Darwin University, as well as holding faculty positions at the University of Sahiwal and the Women University Multan in Pakistan. Across these roles, she has contributed extensively to teaching, curriculum development, academic governance, and student mentoring.
With more than a decade of academic and research experience, Dr. Yasmin specializes in econometric modelling, sustainability measurement, inclusive growth, and education economics. She has taught a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in economics, econometrics, statistics, finance, sustainable enterprise, and risk management, and has supervised postgraduate research projects in development economics, fiscal policy, and female labor force participation.
Her research has been published in leading international journals. She regularly presents at international conferences and serves as a peer reviewer for academic journals. Dr. Yasmin has also held leadership roles such as Assistant Director of Student Affairs at the University of Sahiwal and Research Representative for Higher Degree by Research at Charles Darwin University, Australia. She has received several awards, including a fully funded PhD scholarship at CDU and a split PhD scholarship under the Faculty Development Program.
