    BIO

    Dr. Nadeesha Dayarathna is an academic and researcher with expertise in corporations’ law, corporate governance, whistleblower protection, and business law. She holds a PhD in Law from Swinburne University of Technology, where her doctoral research examined private sector whistleblower protection in Australia through a legal pragmatic approach. In addition, she is an Attorney-at-Law in Sri Lanka, qualified as a Notary Public and Company Secretary, and holds both an LLM and LLB. Her research has been published in leading journals, and she has presented her work at several international conferences.

    Dr. Dayarathna has extensive teaching experience across Australia and Sri Lanka, lecturing in areas such as corporate law, contract law, tort law, administrative law, corporate governance, and ethics. Over the years, she has supervised student research projects, developed teaching resources, and contributed to curriculum and assessment design. Her publications include contributions to the Australian Journal of Corporate Law and Regulation & Governance, and she has actively presented her research at academic and professional forums.

    Beyond teaching, Dr. Dayarathna has been involved in externally funded research projects and seminars, integrating academic scholarship with policy and governance reform initiatives. Her professional journey reflects a blend of academic excellence and practical legal expertise, contributing significantly to higher education and the broader legal community—particularly in advancing discourse on corporate governance, ethics, and regulatory compliance.
